Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films have unveiled a series of new photos from their upcoming superhero all-star show, Justice League. We stress they are simply pics, not necessarily stills from the film that will enlighten you in terms of the details of the plot. But, that’s exactly how we like it. We’ve gleaned enough from that last Justice League trailer.
After all, the movie is now knocking on our door. The calendar turning from August to September today has us thinking that fall movies are just around the corner. Justice League, a first time thrill ride that brings all our favorite DC Comics characters together in one film like never before, hits theaters November 10. Should we start a countdown clock? Me thinks so.
The entire photo series features each of our heroes together and then separately in a sense that feels much like a character portrait. Then, what could be seen as a preview to an upcoming character poster series, the group each get their own singular shot, grouped together in one “super” set.
Ben Affleck returns to the role of Batman that he originated in Batman v. Superman and he is joined in the super friends collective by Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
Justice League also stars Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Amber Heard tackles Mera, Kiersey Clemons is Iris West, and Diane Lane is Martha Kent with Amy Adams reprising her role as Lois Lane. Oscar winner J.K. Simmons tackles Commissioner Gordon, a role we last saw embodied by Gary Oldman.
