Solo A Star Wars Story Trailer: I Got a Really Good Feeling About This!

The first full trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story has landed and boy-oh-boy is it leagues better than that Solo teaser that premiered a while back. The “origins” story of our favorite intergalactic smuggler, Han Solo, lands in theaters May 25 and features a legion of fan favorites, including Chewie (we’ve always wondered how Han met Chewie!) and Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover, nailing it).

Disney and Lucasfilm have a second stand-alone Star Wars story that looks to be a second score in a row after the success of Rogue One.

What’s interesting is that these stand-alone stories are not what fans have ever asked for or even perceived in their dreams that they required.

Yet, one could argue that Rogue One is among the best of the “new” Star Wars movies and if this trailer is any indication, the Ron Howard directed Solo: A Star Wars Story could be right there with that “how did the rebels secure the Death Star plans tale” of Rogue One.

We also get a look at a “newer” Millennium Falcon (which looks sublime), a new droid likely to join the beloved history of Star Wars droids, Woody Harrelson as Tobias Beckett – Han’s mentor – and stunningly awesome cinematography by Bradford Young.

Solo: A Star Wars Story also stars Paul Bettany (as Dryden Vos, the film’s villain), Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton and Joonas Suotamo.
