One of our most anticipated movies of the fall, Blade Runner 2049, has unveiled what is by far its best poster. The one-sheet features stars Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling, front and center. But you will note, each is colored quite differently. We thinks it’s a clue.
Blade Runner 2049 is from producer Ridley Scott, who helmed the first film back in the early 80s. The action takes place three decades after the first film. Gosling’s LAPD Officer K discovers a secret that could unravel the fragile peace that is holding modern society together.
It leads him to search out a great Replicant tracker, Rick Deckard (Ford), who may have the answers to the riddle that haunts K. Problem is, Deckard has been missing for 30 years so finding him is no easy task.
Blade Runner also stars Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista, Edward James Olmos and Jared Leto.
The helming duties for the eagerly awaited sequel have been handed to visionary director Denis Villeneuve and lands in theaters October 6.
