Birds of Prey Home Video Trailer Arrives Just in Time

Birds of Prey and the Fabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is set to invade the home video market, and a little earlier than planned as a matter of fact. The flick, starring Margot Robbie as the titular butt kicker, recently just finished its theatrical run (check out our Birds of Prey theatrical review) and with movie theaters shuttering its doors and folks under quarantine at home, the timing couldn’t be better for Warner Bros. to unleash its DC Comics all-star for a public hungry for entertainment.

Look for the digital release of the supremely awesome flick on March 24.

Director Cathy Yan truly outdid herself with the spinoff flick that puts the best part of Suicide Squad front-and-center. She casted well, first and foremost, as the story wasn’t just about our favorite lawyer-turned-baddie. Quinn is not alone in her disenfranchised realm that pits her and a few of her friends against Ewan McGregor’s over-the-top (but in the best of ways) baddie.

Those delightful bonus features will be included with the digital purchase. Those include:

  • Birds Eye View Mode
  • Birds of Prey: Birds of a Feather
  • Grime and Crime
  • Wild Nerds
  • Romanesque
  • Sanity is Sooo Last Season
  • A Love/Skate Relationship
  • Gag Reel

Birds of Prey synopsis:

When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis (McGregor), and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz (Chris Messina), put a target on a young girl named Cass (Ella Jay Basco), the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley (Robbie), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez)’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.
