Fox has unveiled the “final” trailer for War of the Planet of the Apes and it does appear that man’s days are numbered in director Matt Reeves’ world.
The film is the third in the series that began ever so simply following the often touching relationship between scientist James Franco and his ape friend Caesar (Andy Serkis).
Oh, how things have changed over three movies!
Now, apes and humans are in an all out war for who will control the planet and judging by the title of these films, our money is on the simians.
War of the Planet of the Apes rages into theaters July 14 and stars Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn (who we’re thrilled to see back on the silver screen), Karin Konoval and Terry Notary.
