As if that last Aquaman trailer wasn’t enough to get you stoked for the December 21 arrival of the latest from DC Comics and Warner Bros., prepare for a few new posters that will have you eager to dive into director James Wan’s new world.
The first (above) poster features Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Amber Heard as his love interest, Mera. The second poster has Momoa standing with his trident all by his super self.
For those wondering how this world came to be, it’s rather simple. Queen Atlanna (Nicole Kidman) was found by a lighthouse keeper washed upon his shore. The two fell in love and voila! Baby Aquaman was born.
Until now, he’s been quietly living his life above sea level. When his brother—who rules the underwater landscape—decides to attack the land dwellers, Aquaman swims into action.
Aquaman also stars Willem Dafoe, Dolph Lundgren (soon to be seen in Creed II), Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
