After that triumphant Aquaman poster debut earlier this week, we knew it was only a matter of time before the James Wan directed DC universe flick gave us its first trailer. Fitting it debuted at Comic-Con today, after all…well, too obvious.
How amazing is Jason Momoa as Aquaman?
The casting move had been declared brilliant before we even saw a frame of Aquaman. Momoa was certainly one of the bright spots in The Justice League.
The teaser works as introducing us to this slight origins story and explains much of why this land dweller would head down into the seven seas and seek his place as rightful king.
Besides Momoa, the cast is sublime, from Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Dolph Lungren, Abdul-Manteen II and Temuera Morrison.
