Hot on the heels of the Ralph Breaks the Internet teaser poster, Walt Disney Animation has unveiled the first trailer for Wreck-it-Ralph 2.
Back in 2012, we met Ralph (voiced by John C. Reilly), an old-school video game character who wreaked havoc in a video arcade and eventually become the hero he always aspired to be. This time out, filmmakers have moved beyond the video game palace and ventured into the vast landscape that is the internet. We’re guessing that a character with Wreck-It in his name isn’t going to make his way through the information superhighway without causing a little damage.
Proof of that is in the first teaser, particularly the last joke which had me in stiches!
Reilly returns to the role and he is joined by his beloved sidekick, Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman), as well as Fix-It Felix (Jack McBrayer) and Sergeant Calhoun (Jane Lynch). Disney has also promised an appearance by a slew of Disney princesses. That last part alone is enough to get many into the theaters!
