The hilarious new red band trailer for The House has landed. They had us with “stars Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler.” This LOL teaser that is NSFW doesn’t hurt building the anticipation either.
Ferrell and Poehler play parents of a young woman who has just gotten accepted into the college of her dreams. When they realize that they don’t have the money to send her, they get desperate. It seems that 401K doesn’t mean they have $401,000 in the bank.
What’s a pair of parental figures to do? Well, with the advice of Jason Mantzoukas, they decide to open an underground casino… you know, because The House always wins!
Ferrell also serves as producer on the film, which is penned by the duo who brought us a previous version the hilarity of the suburbs, Neighbors, Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien.
Look for The House to score when it lands in theaters June 30.
