The first full Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer has landed and let’s just say… it’s Sweet! Well, the classic rock band Sweet gets the spotlight this time around, surely a song that is going to land on Star Lord’s Mix Tape, Vol. 2 that will provide the soundtrack for James Gunn’s follow-up to the smash hit film that launched the fab five into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Chris Pratt is back as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana returns as Gamora, Bradley Cooper is back as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Vin Diesel voices (Baby) Groot and Dave Bautista once again triumphantly tackles his role as is Drax.
Adding to the cast will be Kurt Russell (perhaps as Star Lord’s long lost dad?), Chris Sullivan, Pom Klementieff and Elizabeth Debicki. Also returning is Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn and Karen Gillian.
Look for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in theaters on May 5, 2017.
