The ladies are back and we could not be more thrilled to see where the Absolutely Fabulous women find themselves in 2016. For one, they may or may not have killed Kate Moss. How’s that for a beginning premise?!
Fox Searchlight Pictures and BBC Films has released the latest cameo-heavy movie trailer that finds Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley returning as Edina and Patsy. Also back from the original TV show cast is Julia Sawalha, Jane Horrocks and June Whitfield.
The saucy pair are still drinking, smoking and living the high life through… well, life, but this time out, they may have taken their forays too far… by pushing Moss overboard on a Thames boat cruise.
They escape to the South of France, where as they say, “everyone’s a criminal.” But, it appears that life there might be a little more fabulicious than they ever imagined. Again, what could go wrong? With these ladies, hopefully for our funny bones – everything.
The cameos will be a-plenty from the worlds of music, fashion and film and TV. Look for The Absolutely Fabulous Movie in the US on July 22.
