Star Wars The Force Awakens Behind-the-Scenes Video Rocks Comic-Con


When they said that Stars Wars: The Force Awakens would be coming to Conic-Con, what audiences saw inside Hall H did not disappoint. Not only did new cast members show up, such as Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson and Gwendoline Christie, but also fans were treated to a sit down panel with the big three — Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.

What else was a treat is the first behind-the-scenes footage from the J.J. Abrams-directed shoot that gave us our first look at many, many mind-blowing things.

What most impressed us?

How about the confirmation that longtime Star Wars fan Simon Pegg is in the movie. He is likely all covered up in some sort of alien costume, but to see his smiling face in this behind-the-scenes footage gave us chills.

There is also a fantastic shot of Ford getting ready to pilot the Millennium Falcon and Princess Leia looking ready to dish some orders.

What most stuck with us was that Abrams and his team have painstakingly put in the effort to salute the feel of the original trilogy, while still pushing the envelope into the future.
