Hot on the heels of that The LEGO Batman Movie poster, Warner Bros. has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the upcoming animated flick that features Will Arnett as the Dark Knight in the LEGO world.
It’s kind of a DC Comics/Warner Bros. type of day, what with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice finally hitting theaters, that Wonder Woman photo making the rounds and now our first look at the Batman world that arises out of The LEGO Movie.
Arnett, after stealing scenes left in right in Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s movie, had to be given his own flick to take us inside the bat cave for this CG animated gem that finds Batman doing what he does best – saving the day and kicking butt.
Arnett is joined in the cast by Michael Cera as Robin, the boy wonder… in a stroke of casting genius. Ralph Fiennes voices Alfred and Mariah Carey lends her angelic vocals to the part of Gotham’s mayor. The villain this time out will be the Joker, and he will be voiced by… score – Zach Galifianakis!
Look for The LEGO Batman Movie in theaters February 10, 2017.
