Now You See Me was a surprise hit for Lionsgate back in 2013 and the highly anticipated sequel is coming soon. To celebrate the fact that Now You See Me 2 is arriving in theaters June 10, the studio has released nine character posters from the magical thriller.
Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman are back in the roles they made famous in the first flick. Joining the crew in Now You See Me 2 is Lizzy Caplan, who is stepping in for Isla Fisher. She’s not alone in the newbie department as Jay Chou and Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, joins the series as Caine’s illusionist son.
The Four Horsemen are back and this time we’re heading around the glove for our magical mystery tour. It’s been a year since they outsmarted the FBI and captured the public’s heart with their Robin Hood-esque events.
The quartet return to the world a year later, but this time with a purpose larger than before. They seek to undermine a tech billionaire who is causing some serious trouble to the world. They’re heroes!
This time out Jon M. Chu (Jem and the Holograms) is directing. Fans, this will be the middle chapter as a third film is already being plotted.
