The release date of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is getting ever closer. When the calendar turned from 2015 to 2016, we knew our wait for the follow-up to Man of Steel was merely weeks away. Warner Bros. is marking the fact that one of the most anticipated movies of 2016 is just around the corner by releasing a series of hi-res photos from the highly anticipated Zack Snyder flick (written by David S. Goyer).
After the events of Man of Steel, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is enraged at the destruction brought by Superman (Henry Cavill). He is not alone. Our favorite red caped superhero is called before Congress, where he has to answer for his actions. Wayne’s alter ego, Batman, decides to go a step further and declares a personal war on the Man of Steel, looking to remove his “threat” from the planet earth.
The above photos contain some killer shots of Kent at work at The Daily Planet, Wayne mourning his parents and of course Affleck and Cavill in full superhero costumes, presumably before they do battle.
We’ve also got a shot of Amy Adams’ Lois Lane and Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor.
