A featurette takes us being the scenes and teases the explosive action of Hitman: Agent 47. The iconic video game is hitting the big screen for the second time in 10 years, but this time, we have a feeling they are getting it right.
The first film landed in 2007 and featured one of our favorite actors, Timothy Oliphant, as the clone/assassin, and it mostly landed on the pop culture landscape with not much noise.
This time out, Rupert Friend (The Young Victoria) stars as the title character, with Zachary Quinto (Star Trek series), Ciaran Hinds and Hannah Ware filling out the cast.
Fox has released the featurette today and its timing is perfect. It is exactly 47 days until Hitman: Agent 47 hits theaters August 21.
The story follows our title character, an elite assassin who was genetically bred from conception to be the most unstoppable killing machine the planet has ever seen. All those legendary features from the video game are there, from the barcode on the back of his neck, to the red tie and bald head.
Fans of the game should be pretty pumped about this one!
