The Virtuoso Trailer: Anthony Hopkins Stars in a “Kill or Be Killed” Thrill Ride

After dazzling in the Oscar-nominated The Father, Anthony Hopkins is back. The Virtuoso trailer has premiered. Whereas in his previous picture he was the endearing of characters that broke your heart into a million pieces, this time out, he’s the villain. Something, we all know, Hopkins can do in his sleep! All the more reason to look forward to The Virtuoso.

Hopkins portrays a man ready to move on and has taken on a mentee, Anson Mount’s hired gun. The hitman gets sent by his mentor on a mysterious mission where identifying the target is a mystery, but the key to the entire endeavor.

The Virtuoso also stars Diora Baird, Richard Black, Eddie Marsan, David Morse, and Abbie Cornish.

This is clearly a picture where everything is not what it seems, and for this writer, those are among the best cinematic experiences to treasure.

It drops On Demand and in theaters on April 30, before landing on home video formats May 4.
