Hot on the heels of the release of the Zack Snyder edit of Justice League trailer comes the teaser for his latest original creation. The premise alone probably got this thing green-lit in a Hollywood millisecond.
Las Vegas, present day, people are enjoying the City of Sin and ready to leave it all out on the table. Zombies have other plans as they invade America’s playground. Thing is, a band of bandits have a plan to rip off casinos that day and forget those zombies, the plan is going ahead as planned.
There are bat you-know-what crazy movie premises, and then there is what Snyder has gifted us with Army of the Dead. The guy is no stranger to the zombie milieu, after his work on the remake of Dawn of the Dead.
Army of the Dead stars Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy, Part II), Omari Hardwick, Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera, tig Notaro, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer and Garret Dillahunt.
This trailer has The Movie Mensch pumped. Love a good heist movie, particularly one that involves the highly secure entity that is a Las Vegas casino. Toss in a zombie infestation and the layered complications that that brings, now we’ve got one heck of a flick!
