No Time to Die Trailer: They’ll Be Nothing Left to Save

The latest trailer for No Time to Die has landed and we get a little more info on the motives behind Rami Malek’s villain. We also discover that Christoph Waltz’s Blofeld also has it out for the Oscar winner’s character. After all, a common enemy has been known to bridge the most unusual of partnerships.

Daniel Craig has his final voyage as 007 and from the looks of things, he is going out with an explosive bang.

Craig is joined by Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris is Miss Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw is back as Q, and Lea Seydoux’s Madeline Swann promises to raise Bond’s heart rate. Jeffrey Wright was perfectly cast as CIA pal of Bond’s Felix Leiter and Rory Kinnear is Tanner. There are a few newbies to the franchise, most notably Knives Out’s Ana de Armas.

No Time to Die was originally slated to arrive in April, but thanks to the Coronavirus, it has been pushed back to November 20. Let’s hope that date sticks as one of the flicks I was most looking forward to in 2020 was this one.

The flick finds Bond living a retiree’s life in Jamaica. Felix shows up and asks for help locating a missing scientist. That never goes well! As we see, it draws Bond back into the international spy game and there’s no one better at that.

Sam Mends directed the last several Bond movies, and one of my favorite helmers, Danny Boyle, was on board to helm this one but split due to creative differences with producers. They brought in a wunderkind director that is Cary Joji Fukunaga, who appears to be more than ready to bring the 25th Bond flick to life.
