The red band trailer for Triple 9 has landed and the dirty cop thriller has our attention.
The all-star cast is led by Woody Harrelson and Casey Affleck and comes from John Hillcoat.
The story follows a crew of dirty cops who are pressured by the Russian mob into committing a heist. To do that, the cops create an officer down situation to distract their fellow cops from their robbery (that’s where we get the number of the title).
Affleck plays an out-of-his-league rookie, who is supposed to be the officer down in the distraction, but when he fights back, the entire plan goes into chaos.
Triple 9 also features Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Martian), Norman Reedus, Teresa Palmer, Aaron Paul, Anthony Mackie, Gal Gadot and Clifton Collins Jr.
Look for it in U.S. theaters February 19.
