First Trailer for Disney/Pixar’s Gloriously Looking Encanto Has Arrived


The celebration of Columbian culture, and everything that involves, is at the heart of the latest from Disney/Pixar, Encanto.

 

Disney is no stranger to celebrating cultures with their brilliant film slate that not only entertains but enlightens about the world around us. That is firmly at the heart of the highly anticipated Encanto that features original songs from Lin Manuel Miranda (In the Heights, Hamilton).

Encanto chronicles the story of a family called the Madrigals. They live in the most of enthralled towns. Each young one lives in a magical house that has been blessed with the ability that ranges the gamut—from healing the sick to super amounts of strength. Well, everyone except our main character, Mirabel. She discovers that the entity that magic is being threatened. She comes to the quick realization that she may be the only person who can save magic.

Something tells me she is going to discover her inner strength and rise to the occasion in a manner that will have girls (and boys) cheering.

The cast features Stephanie Beatriz (In the Heights) as the vocal talents of Mirabel Madrigal. Wilver Valderrama and Diane Guerrero fill it out the cast.

The script comes from the Bush and Castro Smith and the producers are Clack Spencer (Zootopia). The film will feature original songs by Mirando and features songs in both Spanish and English. Look for it on November 24 in theaters.
