The trailer for Gunpowder Milkshake is here in it is an action-packed thriller ride all its own—can’t wait to see the final product when it hits Netflix on July 14.
The actioner stars Guardian of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan and Game of Thrones star Lena Headey as a mother-daughter tandem who are quite skilled in the art of self-defense and kicking serious ass.
When (Harris) Sam chooses to protect a young girl named Emily (Chloe Coleman, My Spy), and it comes at a severe cost: Bullets, lots and lots of bullets. Oh, and also a bevy of fists, kicks, and other assorted weapons all with the same purpose—to see Sam dead and get the girl. Showing up just in time is her somewhat estranged mother (Headley), and quickly, one can see where our girl Sam got her fierceness.
The action and those two stars are not merely the only draw. This thing has a killer cast that also includes Angela Bassett, Carla Gugino, and Michele Yeoh—who portray a trio of “Librarians” who do their own butt whooping as well.
Meanwhile, gotta have a baddie and here that role is smartly filled by Paul Giamatti. He’s the leader, Nathan, of “The Firm.” Not Tom Cruise’s Firm, per see, but maybe equally as nefarious. Joining him in the supporting cast is Adam Nagaitis, Ralph Ineson, and Michael Smiley

Official Synopsis:
