The latest Disney’s Jungle Cruise trailer is here, starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt (soon to be seen in A Quiet Place: Part II).
The film, inspired by the theme park ride (which worked well for Pirates of the Caribbean), finds Blunt’s Dr. Lily Houghton hiring Johnson’s boat captain Frank Wolff to take her down the wilds of the jungle river for some mysterious purpose. Either needing cash, loving adventure, or both, Wolff takes Houghton’s money and we’re off to the summer movie races.
There’s something innately compelling about the idea of spending two hours with The Rock and Blunt as they careen down the Amazon.
Toss in the fact that Metallica did the official soundtrack, and we’re a go!
