Loki Poster Teases Marvel’s Latest Must-See TV

So, WandaVision is over, and it blew us away with utter joy. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier era is just about to begin over on Disney+ and yes, we cannot wait. But there is a third show coming down the pike that really has us beyond excited. That is Loki.

Tom Hiddleston was born to play the Thor baddie who has had a huge role in the Marvel universe. The poster has premiered (above) and that smirk on Hiddleston’s face is all we needed to send the anticipation meter through the red.

Now, for those of you who are wondering how we can have a show with just an antagonist (who can play the protagonist, given the situation), don’t ever bet against the folks at Marvel, like Kevin Feige, to delve deep into the Marvel comic library for inspiration to bring visual entertainment unlike we’ve seen in years.

Loki takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame… think about that for a minute.

The show also features the always awesome Owen Wilson (as teased in that brilliant Loki teaser), who plays some sort of secret government agent.

Now, haven’t we learned our lesson? Loki can be quite helpful when he wants to be, but he can also turn on a dime.

This is a short series, not unlike WandaVision which ran for 9 episodes. Loki is a six-episode series commencing June 11 on the Mouse House’s streaming platform.

Anyone else excited?

Here is the official Loki synopsis:

Loki features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.
