The long-delayed sequel to the 2013 animated flick The Croods has unveiled its first trailer. The Croods 2 brings back the original cast—Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, and Ryan Reynolds—and this time the caveman family meets a … well, more evolved clan who thought those cave families were a thing of the past. Think again.
The cave clan heads out on the road and discovers a walled fortress and inside is a more human, less Cro-Magnon, family named the Bettermans… which emphasis on Better!
The Bettermans take in The Croods and their difference start to show, almost immediately. But, it appears that they learn to make things work.
Soon after the first flick was released, a sequel was announced, and then back in 2016, it was completely trashed. The Croods: A New Age not only brings our favorite prehistoric family back to the big screen, but it features a stellar voice cast led by Catherine Keener and Peter Dinklage. It also features the vocal talents of Kelly Marie Tran, Cloris Leachman, Leslie Mann, Clarke Duke, and Randy Thom.
Currently, The Croods 2 is set to premiere in theaters on November 25.
