Netflix has unveiled four new character posters for their upcoming mystery thriller, Enola Holmes. If you are thinking the name Holmes sounds familiar, you’re not crazy. Yes, this is an original tale that focuses on Sherlock Holmes’ lesser-known little sister, who has a penchant for solving mysteries as well.
The streaming giant released the character posters that find Stranger Things breakout star Millie Bobby Brown as Enola with Henry Cavill starring as Sherlock, Sam Claflin is Mycroft Holmes and Helena Bonham Carter is impeccably cast as the family matriarch, Eudoria.
Enola Holmes is 16 years-old and what gets her mystery-solving juices going is searching for her mother—who has disappeared. The teenaged Holmes heads to London and forge her own path while her brothers possess their own theories about what happened to the family’s matriarch.
Look for the flick on Netflix on September 23 and here’s hoping that it’s as great as it looks because this thing has franchise written all over it. Check out the trailer below for more …
