Blumhouse has unveiled the first trailer for its body swapping horror comedy, Freaky.
The film finds Kathryn Newton playing a high school student who awakes one day and has switched bodies with Vince Vaughn. He’s a middle-aged serial killer, so there’s that. When he wakes and has taken the form of a teenage girl, he uses that innocent front to go on a fresh murder spree.
Newton has one full day, 24 hours, to fix her lot in life or the alteration is here for good.
The film also stars Misha Osherovich, Dana Drori, Alan Ruck, and Katie Finneran. Also, in the ensemble is Mitchell Hoog, Uriah Shelton, Deja Dee, Charles Green, and Celeste O’Connor.
Helming this wild looking film is Christopher Landon, working from a script that he wrote alongside Michael Kennedy.
