The first poster for Fast 9 has arrived and boy have things changed. He longer can live his life a quarter mile at a time because now … he is a father.
As we shockingly learned in Fast 8, Dom (Vin Diesel) is a father to little Brian (who in F9 is a toddler). His baby mama, Elena (Elsa Pataky) passed away and now this new father has been thrust into the world of parenthood. He is living a quiet life with his wife, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez). We all know that that cannot last long.
The larger arc of the story, obviously, is a majorly kept secret.
The poster release by Universal Pictures puts us on notice that the first trailer will be arriving soon … specifically this Friday!
Director Justin Lin is back behind the camera after his turns helming Tokyo Drift, The Fast & the Furious, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6. The all-star cast features Charlize Theron, John Cena, Helen Mirren, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Michael Rooker and Nathalie Emmanuel.
