I read The Call of the Wild as a boy and never imagined that I’d be lucky enough to see it come to the silver screen, much less with one of my favorite movie stars in the lead. Harrison Ford stars in 20th Century Fox’s The Call of the Wild that focuses on Ford’s Alaskan Yukon-based character who befriends the uprooted dog and the pair go on an adventure of a lifetime.
Buck, the dog’s moniker, found his way in the 1890s to the Yukon and becomes part of a mail delivery dog sled team. Of course, that’s just the beginning of what the animal does and becomes a part of in this charming looking flick.
For dog lovers, or Ford fans, The Call of the Wild looks like a delight.
Ford and a BFF dog movie? Yes, please! The flick also stars Omar Sy, Karen Gillan, Bradley Whitford, Dan Stevens and Colin Woodell. It lands February 21, 2020.
