Elizabeth Banks must have truly enjoyed the art of directing with her work on Pitch Perfect 3 because she’s back behind (and in front) of the camera for a project that appears to be right up her alley. Charlie’s Angels is getting a fresh start on the big screen and Sony Pictures has unveiled its trailer.
Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska are our terrific trio, with Banks taking over the role of Bosley (which is pretty historic, after all, it has always been a dude … and like the world in real life, it’s about time that we let women take the reins for once!).
In previous incarnations, the Angels primarily worked close to home and it appears from this trailer, that our butt-kicking ladies are going international.
This trailer also does a solid job of teasing the soundtrack (which is a nice thing, there used to be a time when every movie’s soundtrack was potential gold).
Charlie’s Angels 2019 also stars Patrick Stewart, Djimon Hounsou, Noah Centineo, Jonathan Tucker and Sam Claflin.
