Scorsese’s return to the mob milieu is ripe with talent that has us drooling over the prospect of the Oscar winning filmmaker returning to his Goodfellas and Casino roots with three of the biggest stars he could get—Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci.
The story follows Frank Sheeran (De Niro), who is a hitman that we learn has a hand in altering the fate of history. Then there’s the role Pacino tackles … he is Jimmy Hoffa!
The Irishman will open in theaters and Netflix this fall and will also star Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Anna Paquin, Bobby Cannavale, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jack Huston, Katherine Narducci, Jesse Plemons, Stephen Graham, Gary Basaraba and Marin Ireland.
