The trolls are here in the latest Frozen 2 trailer! Those sage souls appear to be what sends our Frozen friends—Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Sven and Kristoff
—off on an adventure.
This film appears to be a new direction for the series, as the gang leaves Arendelle and heads out into some mysterious lands in search for answers when it comes to the source of Elsa’s powers.
There was plenty of intrigue and potential thrills in the above teaser, but what we don’t see is any of the humor that was present in the first one. I’m sure there will be some laughs, but this feels like a more grown up story and perhaps that is Disney knowing that the audience that made Frozen a phenomenon has grown up a wee bit and requires something more suited to their present needs with Frozen 2.
Look for the film to open November 22 with the return of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff.
