A powerful new Avengers: Endgame trailer has arrived, and it will produce some chills without a doubt. It is by far the best trailer they have released yet and boy oy boy does it have us ready to see our heroes get back in the ring with Thanos and teach him a thing or two about tenacity.
Marvel Studios and Disney unveiled the trailer this morning and it was a bit of a surprise. Some had thought that at most we’d get some TV trailers between now and the April release date, which is now merely weeks away! But waking up this morning to this emotional rollercoaster thrill ride of a teaser is a brilliant surprise.
First of all, love the new suits … these are truly the guys and gals in white serving as the heroes we know—over a decade of sublime story—that will rise up and do “whatever it takes” to ensure that all those living souls did not die in vain at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. One thing we don’t see in this teaser is that guy responsible for all that—Thanos. In fact, his image has not graced any of the teasers thus far.
The other reveal that is notable in this teaser is the arrival of Captain Marvel. After the blockbuster success of Captain Marvel and that end credit scene where she demands, “Where’s Fury?” it’s awesome to see her at Avengers headquarters ready to do her part. Love Thor’s comments about her.
It feels like forever away, but it gets closer every day. Avengers: Endgame lands in theaters April 26. It stars Robert Downey Jr., Brie Larson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle, Karen Gillan and Paul Rudd.
