The first full trailer for Disney’s Aladdin has been released by the studio and it is a great improvement over that Aladdin TV spot that premiered a few months back.
Whereas the TV spot teased the appearance of Will Smith as Genie, this time out we get the full effect and it looks much better than we anticipated, given what was shown off in that first teaser.
Mena Massoud stars as the titular character with Naomi Scott charming as Princess Jasmine.
The Guy Ritchie directed flick has an impressive production design and epic scope. When those first notes of A Whole New World kicks in, don’t be surprised if the chills appear.
Aladdin will feature a slew of new songs by La La Land songwriters Benji Pasek and Justin Paul, along with the original animated film’s songwriter, Alan Menken.
Look for Aladdin on May 24. It also stars Numan Acar, Billy Magnussen, Nasim Pedrad, Marwan Kenzari and Navid Negahban.
