After an, “OK, you have our attention, but we wanted more” Aquaman trailer, Warner Bros. has significantly upped the ante with an almost five-minute extended teaser that is beyond awesome.
The James Wan directed superhero film from DC Comics features casting of the most perfect kind. Jason Momoa is Aquaman and looks-wise, he was always an impeccable choice. But seeing him in action and hearing a few of his soon-to-be-famous quips, this is a case where an actor was born to play a part and we cannot wait to see the full Aquaman epic tale when it hits theaters later this year.
The story finds an Aquaman character caught between two worlds. His mother was of the sea and his father was of the Earth. Aquaman is the perfect person to bring symmetry to both worlds, but his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) might have something to say about that. He seeks to wage a war between above water dwellers and his below water kin.
Aquaman also stars Amber Heard as Mera (Aquaman’s wife), Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna.
Look to go deep when Aquaman hits theaters December 21.
