Paul Rudd does his thing in the latest TV spot for Marvel’s upcoming release, Ant-Man and The Wasp. Translate: Prepare to laugh.
Evangeline Lilly makes her superhero debut as The Wasp, a character only hinted at in the closing moments of the first Ant-Man film. Rudd’s Ant-Man is back, but to battle The Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), he is going to need a lot of help. It also appears that aide comes in the form of his former crew, with Michael Pena returning(!), and of course the mastermind of this whole world, Michael Douglas.
The plot finds Scott Lang (Rudd) grappling with the events of Captain America: Civil War and trying to find his place in this (super) world. Before he can get to philosophical on us, he is brought in by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) for a mission.
Ant-Man and the Wasp also stars Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian and Abby Ryder Forston in reprising roles. Joining the series is Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurnece Fishburne, as well as Randall Par and Walton Goggins.
The flick hits theaters on July 6.
