Ant-Man and the Wasp Trailer: Done Comparing Sizes?

Marvel does not let the dust settle at all, do they? Days after Avengers: Infinity War broke box office records with a $250-plus million opening weekend in the U.S. alone, the first trailer for their Ant-Man and the Wasp has landed.

The follow-up to 2015’s Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd as the title character, finds his Scott Lang getting a partner in the form of Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne. Sure, she did her part to help Ant-Man in the first film. This time out, she’s a full fledge superhero partner known as The Wasp. She has wings!

Peyton Reed is back in the director’s chair, laying out a story he reportedly had stewing those creative juices from before he took over the helming duties from Edgar Wright on Ant-Man 1.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will have our new dynamic duo entering the Quantum Realm, something Michael Douglas’ Dr. Hank Pym invented, the man who invented the technology that makes our superheroes super. The pair head to the Realm to look for Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), who Pym believes is still alive.

For those who wonder, Ant-Man and the Wasp will be taking place before the events of Infinity War. We suspect by the end of this film, that lands July 6, audiences will know where our two biggest “little” superheroes were during the events of that catastrophic battle between Thanos and The Avengers.

Who’s our villain? Why it’s a figure that emerged from the Quantum Realm to wreak havoc on our world, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen)

Ant-Man and the Wasp also stars Michael Peña, Bobby Cannavale, Walton Goggins, Judy Greer, Randall Park, Laurence Fishburne, Tip “T.I.” Harris and Abby Ryder-Forston.
