Hotel Artemus Trailer Teases Return of Jodie Foster

When Jodie Foster decides to attach her name to a project, it is a rare moment indeed of late… but one to rejoice. The Oscar winning actress does not appear in many films, but there was something that appealed to her about the wild and crazy premise of writer-director Drew Pearce’s Hotel Artemis.

The film takes place in the near future in the City of Angels. The titular locale is a hospital, manned by some of the best and brightest in medicine whose sole purpose is to provide (mostly emergency) care to those on the other side of that criminal line. It is a super-secret facility with a firm set of rules (sounds a bit like the hotel in John Wick, no?) that is meant to keep those who are at the establishment feel safe and cared for.

When the wrong thing is taken from the wrong person, the sanctity of Hotel Artemis is shattered and that is going to bring the heat from a certain someone who wants what was once his. That someone is a gangster played by Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star Jeff Goldblum. The cast also includes Sterling K. Brown and Atlanta scene-stealer Brian Tyree Henry.

As for who Foster plays, she is a doctor who also runs the shrouded-in-secrecy hospital and as her world starts to be challenge, watch for the fireworks to explode. In lessor roles, a trio of our favorites also appear – Charlie Day, Dave Bautista and Zachary Quinto.

Check in to Hotel Artemis this summer, on June 8.
