The first Trolls trailer is here and to say it’s colorful is a gross understatement.
Fox and DreamWorks Animation have unveiled our first look at the upcoming big screen debut on the 90s pop culture phenoms and gives us a true clue as to what expect from the film that arrives in the late fall.
Justin Timberlake stars as the voice of Branch and Anna Kendrick is Princess Poppy, a troll who is insanely happy ALL THE TIME, and that drives Branch a little nuts. When a giant comes to the Troll village and takes everyone away (except Branch and Princess Poppy), she now has a reason to get mad… and get even! Of course, she’s going to need Branch’s help and that may be more difficult to obtain that her friends’ freedom.
Kendrick and Timberlake are joined in the Trolls vocal cast by James Corden, Russell Brand, Gwen Stefani, Ron Funches and Icona Pop. The film is helmed by Shrek Forever After directors Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn.
