John Cho says in the trailer for the latest Star Trek movie, Star Trek Beyond, “hold on to something. That sentiment could be the same for the experience of viewing the latest teaser for the Simon Pegg co-penned and Justin Lin directed third episode in the series that was rebooted by J.J. Abrams.
The latest teaser delves deeper into the first truly deep space mission for the crew of the Enterprise. Back as their leader, Kirk, is Chris Pine, as well as Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Pegg, Anton Yelchin and John Cho.
Joining the cast is (the new James Bond… did we say that out loud?) Idris Elba, Sofia Boutella and Joe Taslim. franchise. Lin is directing from a script by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung.
Star Trek Beyond will premiere at Comic-Con and then hit screens everywhere July 22.
