After teasing us for months with various X-Men: Apocalypse trailers, Fox has unveiled what they say is the final one, and boy have they brought out the big guns for this last one!
And by the way… we mean saving the best for last in the most literal way. At the final moments of the trailer, we get a tease for the most popular of all the X-Men characters… Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine!
Oscar Isaac is Apocalypse, and he’s considered the first mutant whose history goes back to Egyptian times. And over the last thousands of years or so, he has been amassing power at the expense of other mutants who fall by his wayside as he sucks up their gifts.
Now, in the 80s (where this story takes place), Apocalypse is ready to destroy the world we know and build a new one on its ashes.
Joining Apocalypse is his “Four Horsemen,” Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Alexandra Shipp’s Storm, Angel (Ben Hardy) and Psylocke (Olivia Munn).
Returning to the series is Raven (Jennifer Lawrence), James McAvoy as Professor X, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Luas Till as Havok.
Look for X-Men: Apocalypse to descend into theaters May 27.
