Fans of the Harry Potter wizarding world have been abuzz since it was announced that J.K. Rowling herself would pen a screenplay for a new movie trilogy called Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The title harks back to a textbook that Harry and his pals studied at Hogwarts and Rowling used that as a starting point to craft this expanded world of Harry Potter and what a world it appears to be, judging by this newly released behind-the-scenes look by Warner Bros.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them stars Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, as well as Katherine Waterson (Inherent Vice), Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Jenn Murray, Carmen Eiogo, Gemma Chan and Jon Voight.
The film is set in 1926 and finds Newt Scamander (Redmayne) journeying to New York as part of his international journey to find and document a series of magical creatures. And yes, his wand works some serious magic in its own right.
The team behind the Harry Potter movies are back at it, from Rowling to director David Yates and producer David Heyman. Look for the magic to continue when Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters November 18, 2016.
