Where the last Allegiant trailer took our heroes scaling the wall that surrounded their what’s-left-of-it Chicago confines, the latest Allegiant trailer truly goes “beyond the wall.”
The third film in the Divergent series is the first half of the concluding chapter that tells of the world where Tris (Shailene Woodley) discovers she’s a Divergent and what that means to her and the powers that be. Theo James returns as Four and besides getting a little more intimate in this chapter, the below teaser seems to suggest that they are going to do a lot more than have sexy time and go deep beyond the wall. Everything is not what it seems and we all know that that leads to trouble for our heroes.
Octavia Spencer and Naomi Watts reprise their roles from Insurgent, with Jeff Daniels joinging the cast that includes veterans from all the films – Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q and Mekhi Phifer.
For fans of the series, the film’s release date March 18 can’t arrive soon enough.
