One of our most anticipated movies of 2016 comes from the brother-director tandem that can’t be beat, the Coen brothers. Hail, Caesar! lands February 5 and stars a who’s-who of Hollywood talents in the latest crime comedy from the pair who does it better than anyone.
Universal and Working Title Films have released the latest trailer (it is mostly just one scene) and it’s a hoot beyond hoots. One scene trailers are quite the thing now — if you haven’t seen the Zootopia one, it’s another classic use of the single scene teaser!
The film follows life in the Golden Era of Hollywood when one of its biggest stars (played by George Clooney) is kidnapped. In order to get his star back, the studio head (Josh Brolin) enlists the help of several of his big-wig pals (including Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum) to help find the kidnapped superstar.
The cast also features Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes and Jonah Hill. Hail, Caesar! is only weeks away!
