The inspiring trailer for Miracles from Heaven, starring Jennifer Garner, has debuted over at People.
Miracles from Heaven is based on the true story of what happened to the Beam family, whose daughter was diagnosed with a disease that currently has no cure. Something happens (it’s revealed in the trailer below) that “cures” her. The film deals with how is this possible and also shows the power of prayer and believing in something bigger than ourselves. Oh, and you might want to get some tissues.
The film also stars Queen Latifah, Martin Henderson, Eugenio Derbez and John Carroll Lynch. It was directed by Patricia Riggen (whose work The 33 is due in theaters this Friday). It is based on the book by the Beam matriarch, Christy Beam.
