Fox and Blue Sky Studios (Rio, Ice Age movies) have joined forces again to bring some of our most beloved cartoon strip characters to life in a 3D animated heart-warmer, The Peanuts Movie.
The latest The Peanuts Movie trailer is here and it gives us a little tease as to the story of the lovable loser, Charlie Brown, and his effort to get the girl with the red hair to notice him. The moment she moved into their neighborhood, Charlie saw it as a chance for him to be highly thought of. After all, she hadn’t heard of all his foibles from the past! But, in typical Charlie Brown fashion, he finds ways to mess up even the most easy of moments with his crush.
The Schulz family is heavily involved in this production and Charles’ son even is the film’s producer. The Movie Mensch traveled to the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Northern California to talk to the filmmakers and the cast. Stay tuned for our coverage in the coming weeks.
