The latest trailer for Steve Jobs is here and it reminds us why this film had such Oscar buzz before anyone saw a single frame. Michael Fassbender simply blows us away as the legendary Apple founder. The biopic is written by The West Wing and The Social Network writer Aaron Sorkin and it is directed by Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours helmer Danny Boyle. Yeah, that.
So, the pedigree is there on paper. But, what would it add up to be?
Well, judging by this trailer… one hell of an unbiased look at a man’s life who proves that even though his accomplishments are superhuman, he is clearly just as human as the rest of us. Well, then there’s also the fact that he’s beyond visionary and his place in the history books is still being written.
It’ll all add up to something truly special when Steve Jobs lands on screens on October 9.
The all-star cast beyond Fassbender includes Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterson and Michael Stuhlbarg.
