The teaser trailer for Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book has arrived and it is nothing short of absolutely glorious!
Disney, the studio that brought us the live action magic of Cinderella and Maleficent, brings us the live action version of one of the Mouse House’s most iconic films that chronicles the story of an orphan boy who is raised by creatures in the jungle.
Fans of the original animated film who were worried that Favreau wouldn’t be able to capture the majesty of the African jungle and all of its beasts need not fret as this flick looks stunning.
The Jungle Book teaser trailer is narrated by Scarlett Johansson’s slithery Kaa and she could not be more impeccably cast. She is joined in the all-star cast by Idris Elba (Shere Khan), Sir Ben Kingsley (Bagheera), Bill Murray (Bagheera), Christopher Walken (King Louie) and Lupita Nyong’o as Raksha.
After a global search, Favreau and his team found the perfect Mowgli in Neel Sethi, the man cub who was raised by a family of wolves in the wilds of Africa.
