That Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Comic-Con trailer has quickly become one of the most popular trailers of the year. So, anticipation is clearly high for Zack Snyder’s follow-up to his Man of Steel.
Warner Bros. has released a slew of stills from the upcoming superhero movie from DC Comics and the famed studio that should more than whet the appetite of fans eager to see the showdown between Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman.
After witnessing that expanded teaser at Comic-Con, now we have a clear idea why Bruce Wayne is a little annoyed with the Man of Steel.
After that epic battle in Metropolis between General Zod and Superman, Wayne Towers was destroyed and dozens of people died. He, like many in this world, wants the former resident of Krypton to answer for his actions. In fact, Wayne (via Batman) would like to do a little damage to the red-caped wonder himself.
In the photos released by the studio, we also get our first look at Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman (in her street clothes), as well as Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor plus Cavill as Clark Kent along with Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
Snyder’s precursor to The Justice League will also introduce us to Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and more… so stay tuned!
