The Movie Mensch was a huge supporter of The Maze Runner. Not often in recent memory had a YA page to screen effort truly captured our fancy and had us riveted. That is a rarity in the young adult dystopian world of late, and we for one, are eagerly anticipating the sequel, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
Fox has released a series of character posters for The Maze Runner sequel, and front and center is Dylan O’Brien as Thomas, the main reason — we think — that the first film worked so well. A star was born as the Teen Wolf actor lept from the world of TV and became a movie superstar in our opinion.
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is set to debut its latest trailer tomorrow, so these posters are just a tease for what’s to come.
After his stellar work on the first film, director Wes Ball returns to helm the project, which features not only O’Brien returning to the franchise, but also Kaya Scodelario and Patricia Clarkson.
Look for Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials on September 18.
